The Invisalign Process

Once it has been decided that Invisalign will be your chosen orthodontic treatment option, we will take digital impressions to create your first set of clear aligners. After you pick up your new aligners from our office, you will want to wear them every day and night for as long as possible, only taking them out to eat, drink, and brush and floss your teeth. You will begin wearing a new set of aligners every two weeks, which will shift your teeth efficiently and comfortably. Once your smile is straight, you will receive a custom retainer, an electric toothbrush, and a professional teeth whitening session to complete your dream smile!

Clear aligner therapy only works if the patient wears their aligners between 21 and 22 hours a day on average, so we typically don’t recommend Invisalign for patients who tend to misplace things or can’t commit to wearing their aligners as much as possible.
