Implant Repairs

Dental implants carry a remarkable success rate. However, they are still subject to failure or damage from time to time. The moment you feel that your implant is loose or compromised in any way, please let us know. Our restorative dentist is qualified to perform a wide variety of implant repairs so that you can promptly regain a secure, comfortable and confident smile. Most patients only need repairs to the crown or other restoration that sits on top of the dental implant, instead of the actual implant itself. Regardless of your concern, we will work hard to find a lasting solution.

For excellence in dental implant restorations and implant repairs, contact Three Creek Dentistry today. We love serving Derwood with the best that modern dentistry has to offer. Our office offers soothing amenities, flexible scheduling, easy financing and other valued services to take the stress out of your dental care.

How many teeth can be replaced with dental implants?

Dental implants can be used to replace one tooth or all of the teeth, depending on the patient and their specific needs. If you have a few dental implants and decide that full dentures would be a better way to replace all of your top teeth or bottom teeth, our team can create custom implant-supported dentures. Implant-supported dentures combine the stability that dental implants offer with the ability of dentures to replace many missing teeth all at once. No matter how many teeth you need replaced, Three Creek Dentistry is here to help!

How long does it take to heal from a dental implant restoration?

Recovering from a dental implant restoration does not necessarily take as long to recover from as recovering from a dental implant placement. If it’s just the crown that needs to be repaired or replaced, there should be very little to no downtime at all. If the titanium implant itself needs to be modified or replaced, that may require a few weeks of recovery, although it is pretty rare for the implant itself to need any restorative work once it has fused with the jawbone and had enough time to heal properly.

Are dental implant restorations covered by insurance?

If your implant has been damaged and must be repaired for your oral health to remain in tip-top shape, then dental insurance is more likely to cover the treatment. However, if your implant restoration is considered more of a cosmetic treatment, there might not be as much coverage that is offered. Our office is happy to accept flexible payment plans through GreenSky, and we also offer a Dental Savers Plan for patients who are uninsured and want to save on their dental costs.
